The Community Mapping Program (CMaP) sprouts from a desire to share ITD's knowledge and practical experiences with youth and their communities by helping them not only to understand how mapping technologies like GIS and remote sensing are used in everyday life and by a growing number of professionals, but to gain the skills to become those professionals.
